FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST TREATMENT?

There will always be assessments before each session, so arriving 5-7 minutes early is helpful.  Ample water intake the days prior to your session can do a good deal toward making the session more comfortable, as well.  You can exercise or stretch before your session, but be thoughtful, and please stay within your body's limits.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?

Every time we meet we'll do an in-depth assessment.  During the session we will continue assessing, proceeding based on the continued communication and feedback, and we will do our best to educate you about what is happening with your body.  You are free and encouraged to ask questions.  Afterward, there will be post-care assessment, recommendations for self-care, and suggestions for rescheduling, as well as taking payment.

WHAT IF I AM UNABLE TO COMPLETE MY SESSION?

There are no requirements for session length, and we understand that time and budget are concerns for our clients.  We will always do our best to work within your means while ensuring we balance all that we do.  If you need to miss your session, then we do require 24-48 hours of notice to avoid a fee.  There are reminders sent 2-3 days in advance to help avoiding any scheduling-related complications.

WHAT IF I AM UNCOMFORTABLE OR HAVE ISSUES AFTER MY TREATMENT?

Please, always reach out to us immediately with your concerns.  Some mild discomfort, soreness, or tenderness can accompany any massage, but we guarantee our work, and we can often assist you in becoming more comfortable.  If issues arise beyond this, we will have you back in to deal with issues at no cost to you.  We take our work and our responsibilities very seriously.
